Check this out: our buddies from The Dollar Bin website and podcast came up to last Saturday's Charlotte Minicon and recorded interviews with guests Rob Ullman, J. Chris Campbell, and Duane Ballenger. AND, in a dizzying breakdown in judgement, they interviewed myself and Shelton Drum. I know, it's crazy. But I thought I'd let you know, just the same.
Although let me warn you--there might be some PG language in some of their podcasts--not from Shelton and me, but I'm just saying. If you don't like that sort of thing, get your earmuffs ready. But cusswords aside, these guys are great, super friendly, and giant boosters of HeroesCon. Plus, you can tell they genuinely love comics, which is important when you produce a comics-oriented podcast, I assume.Okay, the links:

Thanks to the Dollar Bin for all the coverage! And I'm sure Rob's thanking them for posting that bizarre looking photograph of him. Haw!

To my defense, that was the best photo I captured of Rob. The others I have show him stuffing his face with a burrito and they are not complementary so they'll never see the light of day.
Because this is the second time I've heard some comment on his picture I decided to steal his "Bio" drawing at his illustration site and use it instead. I hope his okay with that.
So, head back to the Dollar Bin site and take a gander of Rob's new pic before he gets bumped off the homepage.
Oh man! If I'd known you were going to change it, I would never have said anything--it looks like he's doing a Jonathan Winters impersonation! This is a great week for Rob--he was profiled on the Ephemerist blog, and that was picked up by other big comics blogs like Comics Reporter and Journalista. Whoa!
Seriously. Bring the original photo back--Rob's a good-looking guy; he can handle embarassment better than the rest of us (me).
In all fairness to Kris, I am the other person who commented on the Rob picture. I simply said that somehow it just didn't look like Rob.
But that aside I just came across this link and couldn't possibly thank Dustin enough for his kind words and everything else he's helped us out with. Thanks DUSTIN!!!
